The Colorado Italian American Foundation (“COIAF,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects intellectual property rights and expects visitors, contributors, registrants, and users of this website, including the Italian Heritage Coalition Network (“IHCN”), to do the same.

Copyrighted Material

COIAF and IHCN may publish original text, graphics, images, audio, video, educational content, Heritage Minute materials, directory listings, banners, logos, and other creative works. Some materials may be owned by COIAF, while other materials may be submitted by third parties or used with permission.

Submitting a DMCA Notice

If you believe that material on this website infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice requesting review and removal. Your notice should include:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  • The specific URL or location of the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Review and Response

Upon receiving a proper notice, COIAF may review the material, contact the submitting party, remove or disable access to the material, or take other appropriate action.

Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice explaining the basis for your position and providing sufficient contact information for follow-up.

Repeat Infringement

COIAF may restrict or terminate access, listing privileges, or submission privileges for users or contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material.

Third-Party Submissions

Directory participants and contributors are responsible for ensuring that any submitted photos, videos, logos, text, descriptions, or other materials are authorized for use.
