Heritage is the foundation of the Colorado Italian American Foundation’s mission to preserve and promote Italian Heritage, Culture, Education, and Outreach.

Italian heritage lives in the stories of our families, the courage of our ancestors, the traditions carried from generation to generation, and the communities built by Italian Americans across Colorado, the United States, and around the world.

Through COIAF and the Italian Heritage & Culture Association, we seek to preserve these stories, honor cultural landmarks, support historical awareness, and make Italian heritage easier to discover for families, visitors, educators, and future generations.

This Heritage section will highlight Italian history, family traditions, monuments, museums, cultural organizations, community achievements, and resources that help preserve the Italian legacy for generations to come.

As the IHCA directory grows, visitors will be able to discover heritage sites, stories, organizations, and cultural resources near them—helping connect people to the Italian heritage that surrounds them.
