The 21st Annual Sons of Italy Scholarship Gala will honor eighteen students of Italian Heritage from southern Colorado. Each scholarship is worth $750.00 plus an additional bonus from the Colorado Italian American Foundation. The scholarship grants this year push the total amount scholarship grants awarded to over $290,000.00.
Scholarship grantees must write a short essay explaining why their Italian Heritage is so important, in addition to providing their records of Academic excellence.
The scholarship dinner will include antipasto trays served family style with wine and a full course family-style Italian meal for all attendees prepared and served by T C Catering. This year’s event begins at 6:00pm with dinner at 7:00pm.
